From Virginia to a Growing Restaurant Family

Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant describes its goal as serving authentic Mexican food alongside a welcoming dining experience. Its story began in Virginia in 1994, when two men from Jalisco, Mexico, set out to do something special with Mexican cuisine.

After developing and expanding its menu, Plaza Azteca brought its approach and the flavors of Mexico to other parts of Virginia and then to Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

The restaurant highlights traditional seasonings and familiar dishes such as enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and its signature sizzling fajitas. Fresh tableside guacamole, margaritas, and appetizers are also central to the dining experience it promotes.
